The author of this website is Nate Housley, M.A. candidate in US History at the University of Utah studying labor history. This website satisfies a requirement for Dr. Gregory Smoak’s Careers in Public History course. The oral histories consulted for this project come from the University of Utah’s Marriott Library collection of Carbon County oral histories, available here. Nate Housley conducted the oral history with Dr. Phil Notarriani. Special thanks to the Utah State Historical Society and to the J.
